
About Cottage Home:
Child development is integral to over all socio-economic development of a nation ‘Children health tomorrow’s Wealth’, the theme affords an occasion to a worldwide ambience. The message that children are a priceless resources and that any nation which neglects than would be so at its peril.
With the help of department of Women and Child development and social welfare Govt of West Bengal, the organisation has started the programme for the needy and destitute children.
There are 70 inmates. They are facilities of all kinds of services which are needed for their social, education, health and economical development in the form of food, clothing medicines, education, shelter and other allied services in free of cost .

13 inmates of madhyamik examination in the year of 2011-2012 and all have passed. 10 inmates appeared in madhyamik examination in the year of 2012-13 .
The children participated and performed in the cultural programmes like Republic day, birth day of Rabindranath Tagore, Rakhi Utsav, Saraswati Puja, Annual function of SAUJATYA .

Functions :

To provide Institutional cum residential care to the cottage home and homeless children.

To provide formal Education, vocational and skill training to these destitute and homeless children to safeguard against child labour, drug addiction, beggary Juvenile delinquency etc.
Staff of each welfare Home comprises One Superintendent (B-17) alongwith ten other officials of various scales.
